Project 1-Hundred

Empowering New Drivers Through Performance Driving Instruction

Project 1-Hundred is a groundbreaking initiative by Project 1, an aspiring grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to reducing teen driving fatalities. In a potential partnership with the world-renowned BMW Performance Driving Center in Thermal, California, Project 1 has a goal of offering 100 scholarships to licensed drivers aged 15-21 for a unique driving school experience (teen school).

Understanding Meets Performance: A Perfect Match for Safety

You might be wondering: why a performance driving school for teen drivers focused on safety? The answer lies in Project 1's core philosophy. We believe that true understanding and respect for a vehicle's capabilities are key to safe driving. The BMW Performance Driving Center offers a unique curriculum that goes beyond the basics of driving. Through a combination of classroom instruction and practical exercises on their world-class racetrack, teens will gain valuable skills in:

  • Car Control: Students will learn proper vehicle handling techniques, including cornering, braking, and maneuvering in various conditions. This newfound confidence and control translate to safer decision-making on the road.

  • Situational Awareness: The program emphasizes the importance of being aware of your surroundings, anticipating potential hazards, and reacting appropriately.

  • Risk Management: Teens will be exposed to simulated real-world situations, fostering an understanding of risk factors and responsible driving habits.

Project 1-Hundred: Coming Soon!

We are currently in the development stages of Project 1-Hundred, finalizing program details. While applications for the scholarship program are not available yet, we anticipate launching this project soon.
